The Polish Air Force University (PAFU), otherwise known as the "School of Eaglets", actively participates in shaping the national defense and security system of the Republic of Poland, especially in the field of security and air defense Key projects and tasks related to the development of the Academy are carried out in the units of basic activity: the Faculty of Aviation, the Faculty of Aviation Safety, the Institute of Navigation and the Institute of Logistics and Transport, under which specialist military aviation training for the needs of the Polish Armed Forces and civil aviation training are conducted. The most important tasks of the Academy include: conducting scientific activity, providing research services and transferring knowledge and technology to the economy. PAFU research base includes, among others, twenty-nine laboratories, six research laboratories and one school and training system.
